Easy answer.

The Olympics hosting cricket would mean another world tournament, aside from the ODI cup held every four years and the T20 cup held annually. There would be no reason for the inclusion of the event, unless the constraints were similar to that of the soccer. By this, I mean that only 3 "First XI" players can be selected in the entire squad.

CRICKET is not much of an active sport. All u need is to be fit, u do'nt have to be very very very flexible. But u must know how to run fast enough. In many other ways, Cricket is not a quick sport, it has a very fixed time.

Okay now the guy who answered this is a complete loser and has meager or no idea about Cricket.

Cricket requires an enormous amount of intelligence, judgement of body language, incredible stamina. As a matter of fact, not everyone can excel at Cricket, so to keep countries like China, USA at the top in the olympics, cricket isnt a part of it.
