There is a record of 11:28:03 (about 11.47 hours) by Oleg Kharitonov on a track on Oct. 20, 2002 in a race in London. This beat the previous record held by Don Ritchie, which was 11:30:51 (October 1977).

World records are not kept for 200 miles as its not a standard distance. The best time may well belong to Yiannis Kouros who ran it in 1 day 5 hours 3 minutes and 45 seconds in Sugeres, France in 1995.

The current world record for a 200-mile run is held by Zach Bitter, who completed the distance in 34 hours, 26 minutes, and 19 seconds. He set this record at the Six Days in the Dome event in Wisconsin in 2019.
