Where a support band, which you can get from your local chemist, it will support your knee and if the injury isn't too bad, you should be able to still carry on with your dancing until your knee has fully recovered. If after a fortnight, at the most, your knee still isn't feeling better, go to your doctor and tell her/him because there could be some further damage involved.
