There are several different kinds that may apply. The one that comes to mind is what is called an 'extended trot'. When done correctly is looks like the horse is floating on the front end. There is an extra half-beat before the hoof hits the ground. I've seen it hundreds of times, and have actually executed it on horseback several times, and it always amazes me.
What animal is in esio trot? The animal is a TORTOISE.

A skip is NOT a gait it is trained in dressage.

Yes. Riders in Western Pleasure, Equitation, and Dressage can compete in walk/trot classes.
The jog is generally a western movement. The english equivalent would be the trot, which is more forward-going than the western jog. Dressage at the high levels requires several types of trot: collected, working, and extended. Arguably the passage is also a very slow, animated trot.
Passage is where the horse preforms an elevated trot with minimal forward movement.
A Piaffe is when the horse is in a highly collected trot on the spot. Likewise, a Passage is when the horse performs this elevated trot while moving forwards.
In Pippa Funnell 1 you may get stuck on dressage and if you do go to the library and make that one of the things you need to do in your day then buy the books... Dressage: Walk, Dressage: Trot, Dressage: Gallop, Dressage: Piaffe and Dressage: Flying Change. You may not have enough money for them all at once so if you go to the library time by time or if you don't want to spend your money then on the screen when playing dressage when your walking and you approach a big question mark when your walking draw a S, Trot a O , gallop a G, Piaffe a Z and Flying Change a V. Hope that helps x
You start by teaching them basic dressage. Teach them to push back to front, and then as you work up the ranks, you can learn collection and through collection - the Piaffe... There are "cheating" ways too but the TRUE trot in place is the Piaffe. It is an upper level Dressage movement.
