A good balance Well, yes but not just. Here, here's a overview list. * A burning desire, an obsession... to work out, to practice every moment you have. * A really good and inspiring teacher. * A really healthy diet. * A real feel for the music itself. * Lots of strength and flexibility. * A knowledge of the steps, movements, positions and workout overall. If you want to go pro, you have to really love the dance. Even if it doesn't nessicarily love you. ESPECIALLY when it doesn't nessicarily love you.You got to want to spend every moment of your life working on the dance. Loving everything about it. The aches and pains, the injuries... you've got to want to sacrifice it all... just to keep working on the dance, always perfecting your craft even further. And there's always the danger of that one injury that may end your entire career. You may not have time for a college education or a lot of the other experiences of life. So... Martha Graham said it best, "If you have to ask, 'Should I be a dancer?' You should definetely not be one." So... there. THAT'S what it takes.
