Ballet dancing is very pretty if you get it right. It is graceful and you are aiming to make the moves smooth and flowing. It is supposed to be a response to the music. It can look quite easy but let me tell you, I've been learning for nearly 5 years and I'm still not up on points and I can't really raise my leg higher than 90 degrees. All those fancy leaps and turns takes A LOT of practice. I hope I was helpful. =] :-P

There are also diffrent because of there shoes. In ballet there are ballet shoes and ballet point shoes. In jazz there are jazz shoes. Ballet and Jazz both are great fun. I am in both.
