Every year, the Colts play both home and away games against their division rivals (Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, and Tennessee Titans). The Colts will also play the AFC West and the NFC North. Home games will be against the Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, and New York Giants. Away games will be against the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Redskins, and Philadelphia Eagles.
The remaining two games will be played against the teams who finish in the same place as the Colts in the AFC North and East. The Colts will play home against whatever team finishes in the AFC North division in the same place as the Colts. The Colts will play away against whatever team finishes in the AFC East division in the same place as the Colts.

Actually, the League has a rotation that it goes through every season. It rotates through year by year, depending on what conference you are in. So the AFC South will play the AFC North: Cincy, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cleveland. And they will also play the NFC South: Tampa Bay, New Orleans, Atlanta, Carolina. Also they will play the equal finishing team from the AFC West, and the AFC East. (So if the Colts were to finish 1st in the AFC South, they would play the 1st place team from the West and East.) So in the end, you don't know EVERYONE until after the season is over, but 14 of the games will be set. Its all a very reliable formula they have to keep the rotation. The home and away games are already determined too.

As of December 4, 2010, the Colts are not leading their division. They and the Jacksonville Jaguars both hold 6-5 records, but Jacksonville already owns a win over the Colts, and therefore has the tiebreaker. The colts are also currently trailing the Steelers by one game for the second wild card spot.
