To replace a go-kart jackshaft, first, ensure the kart is safely elevated and secured to prevent movement. Remove the existing jackshaft by loosening the bolts or screws that hold it in place, and disconnect any attached components, such as chains or gears. Install the new jackshaft by reversing the removal process, ensuring it's properly aligned and secured with the necessary hardware. Finally, reattach any components and check for proper operation before testing the go-kart.
