Your coach moves you up to level 4.
it depends on what kind of basic you mean. if you mean basic rec. gymnastics skills: handstands, cartwheels, forwards roll and backwards roll and round-offs basic competitive gymnastics skills include handstands, cartwheels, flexibility, round off (RO), back extensions, back handspring (BHS), RO BHS, and conditioning
Actual competitive levels start at level 4. Olympic gymnasts try out for the Olympics in level 10. All of the skills you've listed are very basic skills and you'll need them for any competitive level, plus more. If that's all you know how to do, you won't make it into level 4. You'll need some more gymnastics training before you can compete.
i don't know but ima level 5 gymnast and a girl!!
i can help!! i am a level 8 gymnast. i know just about everything when it comes to gymnastics because i have been doing gym for 11 years
You should first make sure you are doing gymnastics at a reputable gymnastics facility. Then you should listen to your coaches. They know what they are talking about. Always point your toes, have good form, keep your chin up, when performing skills you should tighten up every muscle in your body, you should exercise and build lean muscle, and have a good attitude.
i am a gymnast, and i am not entirely sure, but i know that they can "bounce" with you as you do your skills. they are not entirely solid.
it depends on the gym, but usually u just need to know how to do basic stuff.
I don't know the answer to that. Maybe you should check encyclopedias at the library.
Gymnastics has not ended. I know because i am still in gymnastics currently.
I need this info really badly for a close friend who does gymnastics. She is intermediate, though she needs to know basic skills in the class also. Help me!
The arm and hand positions vary within each skill in gymnastics. I would need a more detailed question about possible which skills you would like to know the arm/hand positions.
