if you want money to college for running you need to run 50 or under. to be top 10 nationally you need a 46.5- 47 at least. 47-48 is still in a very elite category. I have seen freshman come in running 62 and end up running 50 by senior year and i have seen freshman running 55 run 53 as seniors, it depends a lot on body maturity. However a most recent graduate of mine ran 56.6 as a freshman 51.9 as a sophmore 49.4 as a junior and 48.5 as a senior. He now runs division one
its alright
in the 50's
1min 10secs should be a good time
A good time for a 7th grade boy in the 400 meter dash typically ranges between 55 to 70 seconds, depending on the athlete's experience and training level. More competitive runners may aim for times closer to 55 seconds, while beginners might be around the 70-second mark. Ultimately, individual performance can vary widely based on factors like fitness and technique.
Yoshua Selvadurai ran 3 min 34 seconds when he was 13. This is a world record. I suggest taking your child to a professional trainer for entrance to the youth Olympics.
1 minute 30 seconds is a great time, 1 minute 40 seconds is good
about 55 to 60 second maybe, i can run it in 56.21 second you

For someone with good form and someone who is in good shape the race should add somewhere in the relm of 5 secs
not really.... if you could get that down to 2:20 that would be good
Depending on height, age, and track conditions, anywhere from 57 to 62 seconds. The record is 50.74 seconds set by Monique Henderson of Cerritos, California on 3 June 2000.
