There are about a million different gymnastics tricks and they really depend on what type of gymnastics you do. Here is a short list of some of the tricks that one can do but not nearly all: Aerial Back Handspring Front Handspring Head spring Front/Back Flip Front/Back Layout Front/Back Full Arabian Side somersault (Sumi (sp?)) Front Aerial Again this is just a short list. You can add multiple spins and flips to many of these such as a double back or a triple full. Gymnastics tricks have become absolutely crazy in the ability of the gymnasts.
aerial skills include front, back, and side aerials. I also include side summis and baranis. A front aerial is similar to a front walkover without hands and a side aerial is like a cartwheel without hands. A back aerial is like a back handspring without hands.
There is really no average time . It all depends on four things. First , how fast you learn tricks. Second, how much dedication you put into learning the trick. Third ,If you are willing to practice your tricks. Fourth you must know other tricks before you can learn your back handspring. Like when you first begin you learn your forward roll then the straddle roll. After that, you will need to learn a back bend on the ground along with learning a handstand and a cartwheel. After you get your back bend on the ground you will work on a standing backbend, along with a hand stand snap down and a cart wheel click .If you can stop in your cartwheel you learn a standing backbend you will have to learn how to come up without rocking out of your backbend. Once you get that, you will learn a frontlimber and a backwalkover and maybe a front walkover. After that, you can learn your back handspring. But you cant just start on the ground. First, you have to be spotted on the top of the wedge. After you get that, you have to be able to do a back handspring on the top of the wedge by yourself, then you move down to the middle, then the bottom, and finally on the ground. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A SPOTTER WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND KNOWS HOW TO DO A BACKHANDSPRING. Sorry if this wasn't the kind of answer you were looking for and if it doesn't help.
power gymnastics would be fast tumbling or for example like a round off back tuck or a whip back. where as graceful tumbling or slow tumbling is standing tricks for example like front walkover or cartwheel.
Practice, practice, practice. what i did to learn to skate switch is learn everything nollie and than try switch that way its more fun and you learn more tricks. So its called goofy. unless you ride regular. then its switch. but you can do switch kickflips and all sorts of tricks.

paul rodriguez is goofy yes he is goofy but he does a lot of his tricks regular because switch tricks will get more points in a comp. and because if you can kickflip and eight stair, well that's awsome, but if you can switch tre a nine stair, hell for the moment your like the god of skateboarding.
