Some beginner ones are: forward roll, cartwheel, backward roll, handstand, round-off, handstand forward roll, bridge kickover, backbend, walkover, straddle roll, one-handed cartwheel, and pike roll. Some intermediate/advanced ones are: back handspring, front handspring, front tuck, back tuck, aerial cartwheel, full, layout, one handed back handspring, Arabian double, round off back handspring, aerial back walkover, and aerial front walkover. These are just some of the many skills in gymnastics. Note: These are all floor exercise skills but I think all of them can be performed on the beam too.
You can watch gymnastics videos or Youtube videos. However, be careful to have a spotter and mats.
Rhythmic gymnastics is a type of gymnastics that consists only of floor and acrobatics with others. In floor routines you usually have a ball or some type of object you do tricks with. You have to have a lot of determination and flexibility to do this sport.
What makes you a beginner is 1) You may not be as graceful 2) You cannot do delicate tricks or 3) You cannot do complex tricks
Of course they do! I go to Auburn Gymnastics Camp every year and they have taught me more than I thought i could ever learn!
I would say 'for remembering' or 'to remember'.

Nadia Comaneci was a model of gymnastics perfection, receiving the first perfect 10.0 score in Olympic history.
The key to gymnastics is flexibility, and a love for gymnastics just go up there try a couple tricks and see if you are a natural gymnast. I know i am. It also takes mental strength. If you think you cant do it, then you wont be able to.
