It varies with the type and difficulty of the vault you are doing. i start at 76 feet.
The gymnastics horse is also known as the vault table. The horse is at the end of a run way to vault over.
Women's gymnastics is a sport in three categories, Artistic, Rhythmic and Trampoline. Artistic gymnastics has 4 events Beam, Vault, Floor, and Bars. Floor- You do dance and tumbling to music for 1min to 1 and a 1/2 min. Beam- You do dance and skills on a 10cm wide beam with no music. Bars- You do a series of moves connected on the low bar and the high bar. Vault- You run really fast and flip on or over the vault.
You need to be able to react to the equipment and the skills you're doing. For example vault, when you run and hit the board you need to react to get to the vault table and the react to the table in order to land it.
It is so much fun competing in gymnastics....The rush of wind through your hair as you run towards the vault. The feeeling of height as you are on the balance beam....omg it is amazing....Just try you'll see.
It depends on what level, height, and your stride lengths! I am 5' and take little strides and I start at 74.5 feet behind the vaulting table. BTW I am in level 7! But at are gym they count 13 steps and that is where you start!!!!
It doesn't matter. It just needs to be large enough to hold a beam, bars, floor exercise equiptment, vault and/or springboard, and the Men's Equiptment, which is optional of course. You may not have boys sign up so that is why it is optianal.
A vault is a safe or secure depository. Example: a bank's safe is a vault.Vault can also mean to jump over something. It may also be a large self sustaining underground bomb shelter, in the Fallout gamesor it could be a gymnastics vault, where you run up to it and do a twist or a handspring over itDefinitions of vault on the Web: * a burial chamber (usually underground) * a strongroom or compartment (often made of steel) for safekeeping of valuables * an arched brick or stone ceiling or roof * jump across or leap over (an obstacle) * bound vigorously * the act of jumping over an obstacle

Parallel bars are a piece of mens gymnastics apparatus parallel bars are two raised wooden bars that run parallel to each other
You run and get the police
Run and press spacebar.
You don't "Play" Gymnastics, you "Do" Gymnastics. And anyways, You learn how to do stuff on beam, vault, bars, and my personal favorite, floor. Gymnastics takes a lot of hard word and dedication, and it takes a lot of time. You can also get hurt easily and maybe even die. It's probably tougher than any other sport out there. However, this is coming from a 13 year old girl... but still.
