Agility helps in gymnastics because if you get good at it you need the speed and power to do things like ... back flips, backsaults, front saults and layout also many more. If you don't have the agility you will probably hurt or injure youself.

There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?

You need flexibility to be able to bend backwards, do leaps, splits and other requried skills for your routines. You need strength to be able to lift your body, and pull itself over in almost ever event.

Flexibility is important in gymnastics because gymnasts have to do hard stretches and moves that would be very hard if you were not flexibile. Gymnasts should especially have flexible legs and back. Gymnasts do things like back handsprings, back walkovers, splits, and more, so flexibility is important if you want to do those moves perfectly.

flexibility can be used in many ways, for example it can be used in a backwards walkover, in the splits, split leap, forwards walkover etc etc but it is a main necessity in gymnastics.
