As of the start of the 2007 Season Notre Dame was second on the All-time win list with 821. Alabama was seventh with 780. Other schools in the top ten in decending order:

#1. Michigan 860

#2. ND 821

#3. Nebraska 812

#4. Texas 810

#5. Ohio State 787

#6. Penn State 781

#7. Bama 780

#8. Oklahoma 765

#9. Tennessee 761

#10. USC 743

As you can imagine these numbers can vary wildly due to the volatile nature of the first few decades of the sport. For example some counts put Nebraska at 807 wins making them #4 and Texas #3. But, for the most part this order is generally accepted. Ironically, as I am writing this, the top two teams, Michigan and Notre Dame, have not won a game yet in the 2007 season.
