Through the 2011 NFL season, that is 27-24 which has been the final score of 173 games. 27-24 is the third most common score of NFL games ... only 20-17 in 239 games and 17-14 in 187 games are above it. There is a big dropoff in games to the second most common 50+ point score, 31-28, which has been the score in 68 games. Next is 30-27 in 67 games and 28-24 and 31-21 in 65 games.

I would say 73 points since the Chicago Bears beat the Washington Redskins 73-0 in an NFL Championship game on December 8th, 1940. Not only did Chicago kill the Redskins but they also set a record for most points in a game set by one team so 73 points has to be the biggest score differential in an NFL game.

292 is statistically the most difficult game to achieve, so if any score has "never been bowled" it'd be that.
it is 84 points

When an NFL team doesn't score a single point in a game, that is called a shutout.
The score of a forfeited NFL game is 2-0. The reasoning behind this is that a safety is the only way to score in an NFL game in which no points are credited to a specific player. There has only been 1 official forfeit in NFL history (1920 - Rochester Jeffersons lost by forfeit to the Washington Pros/Senators).
