Lenin was the leader of the October Revolution of 1917 (also called the Bolshevik Revolution). As to the February Revolution of 1917, Lenin was living in Switzerland at the time and it was over before he even heard about it.

The February Revolution of 1917 had no real leader, since it began as a spontaneous demonstration of dissatisfaction with shortages of food in Petrograd. It soon grew into an uncontrollable riot with many people complaining about the the Tsar and his ruling of the country.

The October Revolution of 1917 was led by Vladimir I. Lenin and the Bolshevik Party.
