Every country has a fourth of July. However, not every country celebrates Independence Day on the fourth of July. England does not celebrate Independence Day on the fourth of July because that is the day when the United States became independent from England.
The Pittsburgh Steelers longest winning streak was in 2004, winning 15 games in a row. The streak would sadly end when they lost the AFC Championship game to the New England Patriots. New England does hold the record at 21 games.

the Americas would be different, at the time of the planned invasion both Spain and England were occupying some part of the "new world". Spain had Mexico and England had some of the US. Had the Spanish won they probably would have taken over the British plans for the new world and ruled both Mexico and the US.
They would be considered World Champions, but not necessarily ranked number one in the World, each team gets points for how many matches they win so winning the seven matches to win the World Cup would get them a lot of points.
