T206 Honus Wagner CardAt one time the T-206 Honus Wagner Baseball card was considered to be the rarest baseball card with a population of about three. There are now about 75 -100 known example of the card. There are at least 7 other cards known to be more rare including the 1921 Frederick Foto Babe Ruth card has three (3) known examples. Some of these cards could sell for more money than the Wagner card (not the Gretzky card) in future auctions as they are made available on the market.

What is the value of a Honus Wagner Louisville Slugger bat with decal?

Depending on the Size, age, model, and condition a Honus Wagner Louisville Slugger Decal Bat from the 1905 -1916 era is worth about $1,000. -$5,000. Condition is not the only important with decal bats, it is everything. The decals are fairly common in beat up condition, and could sell as low as $75.-$100. I have seen a Honus Wagner Decal bat (Youth Model) in decent condition with 85% of the decal sell for $1,800. on eBay. They are rarely found in near mint condition, and a full size decal bat in this condition generally sell in excess of $5000. The age of the bat is important and I will leave a link below to assist you in dating the bat. If the center label reads JF Hillerich & Son Co. and TRADE MARK under the oval it dates the bat between 1897 - 1911. If it reads TRADE MARK REG US PAT OFF below the label 1911 -1916. However the bat cannot be dated before 1905. In 1905 Honus Wagner, signed a contract with Hillerich & Bradsby co. and became the first player ever to endorse a bat. His autograph was also the first to be used on a bat and the first known professional athlete endorsement of a retail product. For more information on vintage baseball bats see Related Links below. I have also added a picture of the decal.
