I did see, however, that there was a book published last year entitled Honus Wagner: On His Life & Baseball with the author being Honus Wagner. I found it on ecampus.com. I wonder if maybe there might be something in that book about whether Butts had married. I own Honus Wagner The Life of Baseball's "Flying Dutchman" written by Arthur D. Hittner. There is nothing in that book concerning Butts and a marriage or wife.
