Women did not participate in the Ancient Olympics. Only Greek speaking men were allowed to participate.

Exception: in the chariot-race the owner of the horses was considered to be the competitor, and got the prize if they won. Women could put their horses in for the chariot race, and were considered competitors when they did.

No, ladies were not allowed to compete in the ancient greek Olympics until much later then men. The first recorded Olympics were in 776BC, but women could not compete for another 500 years. Glad i could help :)

No, if they even showed up at the games, they could have been hurt in punishment, maybe even killed.

Men were only allowed to participate in the ancient olympic games
