How many people can play per game of paintball?

It depends. In tournaments, they are usually teams of 3, 5 or 10 people. In recreational play there is really no specified number of people per team, normally 5-12 people is average. In some scenario games there can be hundreds of people per team.

You can play paintball with as many people as you want, depending on how you actually want to play.


If you want to play against another friend, you could only play 1v1, and shoot each other until one is hit. Then stop, change the position where you start (if you want to) and replay.


Big Games are known for the huge amount of players that are involved. It is actually possible to play 250v250, depending on the size of the field.

You can have as many people as necessary but only 6 players can be on the field at a time.

You can go by yourself and join a "walk-on group" but to get a private feild you usually need around 20+

The smallest tournament is 3 man, the largest is 12 man in speedball. A woodsball team can have as many as they like.
