You should be able to lift your own body weight for reps. 145 is a lot! u want to bulk up do more weights less reps and u wanna get toned less weight more reps. benching 145 should be like your max bench so don't feel discouraged if you cant lift 145 right off the bat. stay at it and you will be there soon.
A person in reasonable shape be able to bench press his own weight. Any amount above that is considered a remarkable feat.
