well i just turned 14..im 5'2 120 pounds and i can bench press 145-150..
lol im 15, 5'8 135 pounds, benching 150 and am the free safety for my football team so ur doin pretty good no ,I just turned 16 i am in 10th grage and i am 5'7 130 and i wrestel varsith and cb in footballand i bench 215 ! school record for my weight. Hey, I'm 15, I weigh 140 lbs, 6' and just today figured out I max 185. I'm super psyched to get to 200 now ^^ I started the school year maxing 135 haha
150 is normal for this weight. 185 is good. 200+ is excellent. i myself am also 130 lbs. I bench 240. but im only 5'4
yeah of course you can. that's shouldn't be too hard. a 135 pound person could rep any amount really when u think about it. i weigh 200 and i can rep 250 so that's about the same
i weight 130 and i can easily rep 185, although i do have about 5% body fat. but yes it is easily possible
I wouldn't say its easily possible because these people train often as do i and weighing 130 pounds cam rep 180 pounds but being tall doesn't allow you to have much muscle mass compared to a shorter person. i am 5'6" it depends what type of reps you mean but yes it is possible. most likes reps of 5 in sets of 5 is more probable
Your weight doesn't have an average bench press. It really depends on your muscle condition and if you're actively working out and where your strength level is at the time. So in other words, its hard to say that someone who weighs 185 lbs. will bench 135 lbs. because there could be another person who weighs 185 lbs. that bench presses 365 lbs.
i weigh 165 pounds and bench press 252 pounds. this is above the average though.
jorgie145- I currently weigh anywhere between 160-165 and my max is 345 lbs. This is way above average. And no, I dont take sterods either. I am a college student athlete so the NCAA doesn't allow for drug use. I would say a good average bench for this weight would be between 205 and 225.
I say if you benching 225lbs you doing good, because you 65 lbs above your weight.
I weigh 127.7 and bench 190. I Would not base this on the normal bench press for a 130 pound being because I am one of the 10 to 20 state champions at powerlifting in the state of Kentucky
OK this is my first question I am answering but honestly i rarely ever see anyone 130 bench over 200 pounds but some short people such as myself can bench 250 pounds and weigh 132 pounds. i am sure there are people in this world able to bench 300 weighing in at 130 or so.
If this twelve year old is on steriods, maybe. I wish I could bench that much and I'm 15! Buddy i am 12 will be 13 in 5 months i bench 175 i am 5,3 135 lbs my dad is a body builder we bench all this time.
130 pound could be money or weight. £130 in money. 130lbs in weight.
you should be at least able to bench your own weight but if you can't then you are pretty weak my bench press is 100 pounds max at a body weight of 96 pounds but keep your self at a pace you can do you dont want to hurt youself. -- Everyones bench press max is different. I weigh 130pounds, my 5 sets of 5 is with 130 pounds and my max is 170pounds. 30-40pounds above your 5 by 5 max is a pretty good guesstimate of your one rep max if you are around my weight. i weigh 139 and can do 190
No. I would venture to say that person is underweight. Another factor to consider is the person's gender.
Varies on what sport. For more strength-oriented sports, like football, 110-130% of a person's weight on benchpress is quite good. Anything is excess of 150% is worthy of powerlifting status and is exceptional.
There are 16 ounces in one pound. Therefore, 130 pounds is equal to 130 x 16 = 2080 ounces.
Because you weigh more therefore you are pulling more weight as a pullup is pulling your entire body weight. when you were 12 you weighed 30 lbs less hence why pullups were easier. Bench press does not involve your bodyweight and your chest, triceps and shoulder muscles are probably stronger now.
A 130 pound person can typically carry a weight of around 20-35% of their body weight without straining themselves too much. This would be around 26-45 pounds. It's important to consider factors such as fitness level, strength, and proper lifting techniques when determining how much weight a person can safely carry.
the average person has 130 of what
130 ounces / 16 ounces/pound = 8.125 pounds
8 1/8
