I'm 15 years old and I can match that time. However, my record for that distance would be about 9 minutes and 10 seconds. I also have friends my age who are much better at running than me but that's mostly due to their size (I'm much smaller). Well I may not know much but my time for 1.5 mile is 8 minutes as a record and about 8.5 average. I am 13 and 5'1. I believe about 14 laps around one tennis court is a mile. But it depends on the size you could always test it out by running it. The standard timedepending on your age could be between 6-13 minutes for a mile. So if you run 14 and get around that time its probabaly about a mile.
It depends on your age, body weight and everything. I'm 14, 140 pounds, and I ran the mile in 7 minutes 13 seconds.
