BOXERS ARE THE FINEST PHYSICALLY FIT ATHLETES THERE ARE IF THEY TRAIN PROPERLY. ALMOST EVERY MUSCLE IN THE BODY IS USED. TOO MUCH MUSCLE BULK CAN HAVE IT;S DISADVANTAGES . IT CAN SHORTEN THE REACH,IT CAN SLOW A FIGHTER DOWN, STAMINA CAN BE EFFECTED. THE WORST THING BULK CAN DO IS PUT THE FIGHTER IN A HIGHER WEIGHT CATAGORY,SO HE WOULD HAVE TO FIGHT LARGER STRONGER OPPONENTS. PUNCHING POWER IS EFECTED MORE BY LEVERAGE THAN MUSCLE. ROD.

Not to be a wise guy, but the best answer would have to be simply "all of them." Legs and core are important for generating power and obviously your shoulders, chest and arms are working hard. Tiring game.
well it depends on the weight, size, speed, and managment of movement so if you are a heavyweight then your more likely to use more upper body strengh to knock there opponent down with one blow. while bantam or flyweights use more of their legs or hip movement to run ribbons around their opponent. i beleave if your the smaller fighter your going to be quicker but it will take a while for you blows to take effect, you can jab jab jab and pretty soon they will fall, while heavy weights use more stamina then their smaller boxing couterparts it only takes a few blows to finish the fight so my ansewer to this quistion is that all boxers will use there triceps, byceps, leg muscles, hip muscels, neck muscels, quadroceps, medertarsel muscles, medacarpel muscles, torso muscles, and finaly the collar bone muscles these help lossen the arms to help with quicker movment of the arms, most of my knowlege of the body comes from extensive years of Martial Arts training if you do deceide to take up boxing remember to always respect your opponent and respect the art you learn. thank you L.G
Calves, quadriceps, gluteus maximus, upper latisimus (upper back), rear, medium and front deltois, the extensors (forearms), and finally the whole of the neck and trapezius muscles.
