Michael Chiklis has had very informal training in several arts. This would be no different than any other star that has trained in action movies other than known martial artist legends such as Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal, etc. Chiklis has played in several movies and tv shows. All of the techniques he would have learned would have been used for his acting career only. For The shield, he had informal training in Aikido, Jiujitsu, and basic striking arts. He has no rank in the martial arts community. It was all done for show.
possibly she was picked for charlie in the chocolate factory because she did gymnastics. She has competed in gymnastics since she was five. i got that from imdb: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1455681/bio
While Scott Adkins, a young British star, may be first billed as an actor, his fame is based upon another set of skills. He is an accomplished martial artist and most of his film roles have played up that fact. Although his early training was in Tae Kwon Do, Adkins is considered an expert in several different types of martial arts.
He he that is a really difficult question to answer due to the fact that nearly EVERYONE will have a different opinion. Who would I say is the best martial artist. Well alot of people would say it was Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee was one of the first real known martial artist in the western world. So naturally when he was big no one knew much about martials arts at all. The best I think personally is Jet Li. To conclude this is really a personal opinion question and I would say if you have found a martial artist that you like and if they have impressed you with they're technique than that is the greatest martial artist on earth.
