It depends how on the location, the school and many other factors. If that is their only job they will try to teach as much as possible, as that is how you get paid.
If you own the school, you will be working on advertising, arranging demo's and trying to attract students to the school. There are taxes and other aspects of contracts, licensing, leases, health code and accounting to deal with. I typically 'work' about 6 hours a week as an instructor, four of it actually teaching and two dealing with paperwork and related items. That doesn't count the time I spend training on my own or with my instructors.

It is pretty hard to learn martial arts on the internet. You can learn to do some of the basic movements, but the proper application is something you can only learn from an instructor. Many different web sites will show one or two moves. But one or two moves isn't going to do much to help you.
It depends upon the martial art. It can also differ based on the rank of the instructor. Japanese martial arts refer to the instructor as sensei. Sensei is Japanese for teacher, literally translating before born or one who is born before. Chinese arts use the term 'sifu.' Korean arts use the term 'saboom.'
