Splits, leaps, turns, jazz and hip hop/cheerleading will help.
If you are flexible in cheerleading this will help you succeed at many things such as doing the splits or doing difffrent gymnastic things. so it really does help speaking from experience to be flexible! HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!! love always Miss.cheerleader
you don't have to be able to do the splits fully but it would be best if you can do them and if you are very flexible.
no you can be eg. a dancer and be able to do splits or even be a normal person !!
well to make it to the team all you gotta do is get out there, shake it but most importantly impress the cheerleading teacher or else she will shout "GET OUT!!!!"
practice your splits. especially straddle, for toe touch.
I think that skirts are better because your more free to do like splits and flips.
Splits and stretch every day
splits which are obvious. also you can do leg lifts and crunches. along with wall splits which help splits. you can also do push ups which help for stunting. and running makes you have stronger legs. if you are small i recommend doing some balance drills and such because little people fly usually. work on scorpions and heel stretches it doesn't matter if you cant do them.. try pulling them to increase ability and flexiblity.
Cheerleading can help you make friends, learn team work, and build self confidence
There are only boys on cheerleading teams to spot for you.(help you in the air)
most definitely. you are not stopping moving in cheerleading, and being fit and flexible can help avoid injuries.
