Why should you spend more time in studying instead of devoting all the time to sports?

I had SOLs this week and i had 2 in 1 day. Doing sports helps u study after u get all the excess energy out of ur system, that is why i do both. I do swimming to get my energy out and then when i get home i sit down and i finish my homework in 10 minutes because nothing distracts me.

Do studying too much is bad?
Ideally, you should have a well-rounded curriculum, where studying is balanced by gym and sports. That said, I do not believe there is such a thing as studying too much. If you think that giving something your best effort is bad, you probably are not going to get terribly far in life.
