It is hard to adjust to a wooden bat, because the bat may be heavier than your normal bat. Most wooden bats are -2 or -3. Another reason is that the barrel is smaller and so is the sweet spot. You don't get that pop off a wooden bat that you would off an aluminum bat. Hope this helps!
