No you do not need to be pregnant.

I don't recommend buying a stick on bra, as what ever substance used to stick to your breasts will more than likely leave your breasts and more importantly your nipples feeling sore. Not to mention if it damages your nipples, you'll wind up wishing you hadn't bought the bra and would have to deal with sore breasts until it heals.

It can be. If you are having symptoms that are unusual for you around the time of your period, then yes, they can very well be signs of pregnancy. Answer With my personal experience in three pregnancies my nipples have been my pregnancy test and they would go hard and hurt and throb and almost burn for long periods off time almost to the point of me crying...i have also had it while being dehydrated and from certain medications definitely don't rule out pregnancy and get a test as soon as possible so you can be aware whether you are or not...but until then with the nipple burning a hot bath with a hot towel over your nipples always soothed the pain and usually made it end for awhileNipples usually are hard. Sore nipples can be a sign of pregnancy providing your having other symptoms too.

Not necessarily. While I'm not a physician, I don't think that it's normal for the nipples to be sore because the breasts are growing, and there are plenty of other things that could cause them to be sore. It could be an indirect result: larger breasts might "bounce" more, causing the nipples to rub on the inside of your clothing, which could in turn make them sore.
