Mulder was the first pitcher to hit a home run at the new Busch stadium!
The first home run hit at Busch III was by Bill Hall of the Milwaukee Brewers in the second inning of off Mark Mulder. Albert Pujols hit the first home run for the Cardinals at Busch III in the fourth inning. Mulder also hit a home run in the game. The Cardinals won the game 6-4.
