2 timesIn 1930, the first FIFA World Cup, it was played in Uruguay and in 1950 in Brazil. In the second one won the final againt Brazil (local team) and that match is known as "the Maracanazo" because it was played in the Maracaná Stadium and Brazil was the favorite team to win that final. So they have won twice.
Brazil.
They beat Brazil in the final, 3-0. Zinedine Zidane scored twice and Emmanuel Petit got the third. Brazil were strangely poor in the final. All sorts of rumours were flying around that Ronaldo was ill, but that Brazil's sponsors wanted him to play. Either way, the French were great on the night.
Brazil have lost World Cup finals twice - in 1950 when they lost to Uruguay (although that was not really a final, more of a last match of the round robin competition), and in 1998 when they lost to France.
Italy has won it 4 times and Germany is just behind with 3.
Holland has played the final match twice and lost twice.
Twice. In 1994 (Brazil X Italy - Brazil won) and 2006 (Italy X France - Italy won).
Brazil, 18 appearances, making it the only country to appear in every World Cup. WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The 1998 world cup was won by France, they defeated Brazil 3-0,
Brazil ios by far better football playing country then Argentina, as Brazil have won the world cup 5 times, and Argentina have won it only twice.
Uruguay, Italy (twice), France, Switzerland, Chile, Sweden, England, West Germany, Mexico (twice), Argentina, Brazil, Spain, USA, Korea/Japan, Germany (unified) and South Africa.
In football never, but in cricket twice.
