You can find information about MMA gear firstly from the gym you train in. If you're not part of a gym, then you can either go to your local specialist sports store, or you can also look at blogs and forums dedicated to MMA.
las Vegas and los angeles are the best cities to train
Find a local mma gym and train you can start competing at 18 but you need alot of training before you can compete you need heart most of all most people are not cut out to be in mixed martial arts.
It really depends on what you mean by "mma lesson". If you're talking about a seminar or something, they would most likely expect you to be at least in your teens. For an MMA school or something you can be as young as 6 in some cases (the mma school i train at has a youth program for several different age groups, one of which is ages 5-6). Just call the place you are looking at training and ask.
The best place for bjj and mma in Edmonton is Arashido on Stalbert trail right by nelsons lumber they have an Awsome bjj instructor and great mma training I have trained there and it's my favorite. There is also cardinals gym which I heard is very good and alot of good pro fighters train there. Then there is Hyabusa in Stalbert which is probably the best bang for your buck as it is alot cheaper and they train alot of great pro fighters who you can also train with but if u don't mind paying 145 a month I'd recommend Arashido cause no matter where the fighters train I see most of them at Arashido sharpening there skills in bjj with master mike and even they say he is the best in the city
Sityodtong in BostonIts run by Mark Delagrotte and Kenny Florian and Marcus Davis train there, among others
Yes, just find a good gym to train in where you feel comfortable with a good coach. Another thing that would be good would be to wrestle if your school has a wrestling team as this will help you a lot in MMA.
It depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking to train alongside professional MMA fighters, then you should be looking to train at the Beijing Jiu-jitsu Academy (www.bjjchina.com), also known as China Top Team. They are China's first BJJ and MMA academy, established in 1998, and offer instruction by reputable Brazilian coach Ruy Menezes. They have trained all of China's top MMA competitors including Dai Shuang Hai, Ao Hai Lin, He Peng and Zhang Tie Quan. Instruction and facilities are top notch. They specialize in BJJ and Sanda for MMA competition. You can also check out Club Hero (http://www.herospirit.com/), which has gyms in Shanghai and Beijing and offer instruction in MMA, BJJ, Muay Thai, Karate and more. If you are just looking to roll or train to improve your fitness levels, or if you are not focusing on competition, then there are a number of gyms available throughout China. For more on MMA in China check out RUFF (http://www.ruffchina.com), China's newest MMA organization and blog.
There is CMA Martial Arts www.hapkidobjj.com They are American Top Team Certified and one of only a few schools to receive that in Australia. They run the American Top Team MMA program. Good bunch of guys who love to get in and train hard.
