The best place for bjj and mma in Edmonton is Arashido on Stalbert trail right by nelsons lumber they have an Awsome bjj instructor and great mma training I have trained there and it's my favorite. There is also cardinals gym which I heard is very good and alot of good pro fighters train there. Then there is Hyabusa in Stalbert which is probably the best bang for your buck as it is alot cheaper and they train alot of great pro fighters who you can also train with but if u don't mind paying 145 a month I'd recommend Arashido cause no matter where the fighters train I see most of them at Arashido sharpening there skills in bjj with master mike and even they say he is the best in the city

Better for what? Street fighting? Cage Matches? If you want to box, boxing is best. If you wish to participate in MMA fighting, that would certainly be the training to go for. If you are looking for the best self defense, I would say MMA, but note that training MMA with the rigid rules might not be as effective as the study of a non-competitive martial art.
You have to have training in fighting.

The sport I have found that is the best exercise and most efficient for calorie burning is MMA. (Mixed Martial Arts) MMA training utilizes every muscle in your body. If you would rather not go as intense as MMA training they have amazing Tae-Bo classes and even Instructional DVDs to help lose weight, burn calories, and become healthier. Learning to defend yourself could also come in handy as well.
Their is no UFC training; it is called MMA and it varies depending on where you live and who is teaching.
