I have a TPX Exo-grid. I have probably hit about 5000+ balls with it, no joke, and it still has great pop. I'd suggest that, or the TPX H2.
As far as brands go, TPX is definitely the one to choose. Those two bats are among the top of the list in TPX bats, and, bats overall.T P X
The BEST fastpitch softball bat right now is the Xeno fp12x. When you hit the ball it sounds like you have just broken glass. A lot of people that see or here the bat might say its against the rules to have. Truth is its not. It is slightly expensive. I think it starts at $300. It is made by Louisville Slugger!
The real answer - it depends - are you a slapper, a power hitter, do you have slow bat speed or fast bat speed. The answers may be balanced, end-loaded, light drops (-11, -12). There is a great site - www.thecoachreviews.com - that reviews the Best Fastpitch Softball Bats for 2013. It also provides reviews from Players, Coaches and Parents. Also provides Top Rankings of Fastpitch Bats in several categories - Slappers, Power Hitters, Balanced, End-Loaded, Team Bats (8U, 10U, 12U), Composite and Non-Composites. Also, info on selection and care of Fastpitch Softball Bats: www.thecoachreviews.com
There isn't a bat that is a magic pill for high school. Your ability to succeed in high school will be based on your ability to read the rotation of the ball, make contact, upper body strength and bat speed. Assuming the talent is there, the men separate themselves from the boys with upper body strength and bat speed.
But you can go here to help choose a good bat:

Don't forget that High school bats are LIMITED to 2 5/8" maximum barrel diameter and a -3 oz weight to length ratio.
There are still "Superbats" available and legal for the 2011 season. Allthough monster composites have already been outlawed, the CF4 and EXOGRID2 can still cover up considerable deficiencies. I would start with one of those.
The best bat ever is the Easton Stealth Series. Easton bats are by far is the best.
Hickory or aluminum.
mmm the best type is aluminum
its a bat thats made of aluminum...if this does not answer your question, look for "aluminum bat pics"and mabe you will see wht im talking about :)
its the same
I would recommend Louisville Slugger or Easton.
The aluminum bat would go farther than the wooden bat. It will go farther because the aluminum bat is much lighter than the wooden bat.
no because a aluminum bat is less heavier than a wooden
an aluminum bat is harder so it hits farther
Most people would prefer a aluminum bat as you can hit the ball further with an aluminum bat with the help of the strength of the aluminum.
