Nope. Clemente almost did. The closest I have ever see was Sosa's Home Run that hit the Camera Booth in center field and that ball was at least 30 feet from the Scoreboard. Although no batted baseball has ever been hit from homeplate off of the center field scoreboard, it is not true that NO ball has ever accomplished that feat. Sam Snead, of professional golfing fame, accomplished it by driving a golfball off a tee at homeplate in 1951, which struck the scoreboard.
No, its just like a regular field goal.
A deadball in basketball is when someone who is dribbling the ball, stops dribbling. That person is just stuck in that spot until a teammate comes to retrieve the ball. You can only be "dead" for 5 seconds with a defender on you.
When a player hits the ball to get on base without an error in the field.
On opening day, April 4, Bill Clinton went to Cleveland and, like many Presidents before him, threw out a ceremonial first pitch. That same day Hillary Rodham Clinton went to Chicago and, like no First Lady before her, also threw out a first ball, at a Cubs game in Wrigley Field.
What year did mark grace hit the ball out of the park at wrigley field
No, a ground rule double is ruled by an umpire, and once it is ruled, then it is a double. You may have a case where a ball gets stuck under the padding on the outfield wall, or stuck in the ivy at Wrigley Field, where the fielder will put his hands up asking for a ground rule double. In this case if the umpire does not rule immediately base runners will continue running, when the batter reaches home, the umpire will go out and determine if in fact it is a ground rule double if the ball is actually lost in the ivy of Wrigley Field, or at other ball parks, if the ball is actually stuck under the wall padding. It is up to the umpire at that time to decide if it is a home run or a ground rule double. However, most ground rule doubles involve a ball that is fair and bounces into the stands, if this happens, it cannot be a home run in anyway

It's a dead ball.
If it was a hit ball and the ball was stuck in the runners jersey then the runner is out assuming he had the first contact with the ball. If a fielder has the ball stuck in the jersey then the ball is dead and the hitter would be safe at first.
It might be so that the batters don't lose their vision of the ball after it is thrown by the pitcher.
Never been hit by a batted baseball.
Wrigley Field....Home of the Chicago Cubs.
Try the ball parks: Wrigley Field (Cubs), or U.S. Cellular Field (Sox).
13-year-old Tyler Olson picked up the ball off the basket above the centerfield wall at Wrigley Field on July 19th, 2007
