It's never a good idea to step in the goalie's crease, even if it's our own goalie. Goalies need their space to maneuver and make saves. In some places, refs might call penalties for invading the crease, but most refs won't, especially if it's your own goalie.
I believe there's two goalies in every hockey game.

Their primary job is to keep the puck from going into the net.
Five Hole
only in the crease
Starting at the goal line, which is the line on the goalies net and crease. Then there is the Blue line, which is above the top of the circles. Then there is the Red line in the middle of the rink, this is where the puck is dropped at the beginning of each period and the start of every game, and when a team scores. then there is the blue line again and then the goal line again. the hockey rink is symmetrical.
Then someone else gets in the gear, or that team plays without one (using a sixth/eleventh ice/field player instead).
This is known as the "crease". Different rules apply to this area of the ice and it has been a controversial topic in many games.
One can buy skates for hockey goalies at sports stores such as Modell's, Dick's or any skate shops at local ice rinks. One can also purchase these skates at online sites such the sports stores' online website.
