Hold it.
Passed ball.
Well, I think they called baseball, because for base.... their are bases in the game, and for ....ball, their playing with a ball.

If you mean foul, it's when a ball or player is out of play and territory.
If you mean the Finnish version of the baseball, it's called pesäpallo. In Finnish pesä means "base" and pallo means "ball", or the literally meaning is "nest ball". If you mean (North American) baseball, then you just say baseball.
A batted ball is a pitched ball that makes contact with the batter's bat, whether intentional or not. A batted ball can be fair or foul.
It is a ball that the batter hits on the ground. Contrary to a fly ball that is hit in the air.
In the case of a place such as a penalty kick the ball can sit in a small plastic cradle or pile of sand.
E is for error as drooped or didn't hit the ball
It probably means your not making contact with the ball at ALL and your just not swinging on the top of the ball. (witch is where you should hit the ball)
What it mean in baseball (as well in softball) to steal is when the ball has been pitched you run to the next base. But you may have to run back because the ball was hit out of bounds. Another way to steal is when the ball was pitched and the catcher dropped it. Then again you run to the next base.
when they say that they mean the bat has no more bounce or energy when in contack with the ball
