The rules of gymnastics are different depending on several factors. There are different countries, leagues, levels, etc. For instance, in the US, one of the most prominent leagues is USAG (USA Gymnastics). In USAG, there are different programs. The most popular one is probably J.O., short for Junior Olympic. The JO women's artistic gymnastics score out of a "10". Then there ar elite gymnasts. These are the gymnasts who have a shot at going to the Olympics. They no longer score out of a "perfect 10" because in recent years, it has been a major concern in the gymnastics world, that some gymnasts would do much harder routines than others, and score lower because of execution. Today, elite gymnasts (and olympians) are scored by execution (which is still out of a "10"), and difficulty (which is determined by what skills one does).

All in all, different programs, leagues, genders, and other varying factors can influence rules. It's the same as any other sport.

the rules in gymnastics are:

on the floor routine you are not allowed to step out of the white line around the floor

on the bar routine you have to be able to each the top bar and at least be able to to a forwardroll on the top bar or you will fail on beam you can do anything as long as you don't fall of it it does not matter if you fall of once or twice but you will just loose a few points and last vault yet again you can do what you like on vault as long as you show a good presentation for example you could do a dive forward roll and do i perfect but if you don't bow before and after your dive forward roll you will loose marks that is about every thing

rules for gymnastics are just that if you want to become a good gymnast you have to work hard at it and don't give up

Bars is the hardest event for most people but if you try hard you will succeed

Beam is just floor on 4 inches you may not be the best when you start but after a while you get used to it

Floor is difficult it is not only about the tumbling but the dance and everything else (ex. if you don't point a toe you lose points)

Vault is a simple front handspring at first it is really fun you just have to get used to it and never stop Ur turn in the middle if your being spotted/helped because there is no need to and it leads to bad habits

Floor and Vault are my personal favorite

Should Karate be included in the Olympics and why?

It could be included because there is a type of karate called "Freestyle Kata, is a type of karate Kata mixed up with gymnastics, check in youtube for some freestyle Katas. No! In order to be in the Olympics there have to be very specific rules. That goes against the basic premise of karate, defense without any rules. The minute that rules, any rules, are applied it moves from a martial art to a sport.
