First off, your cheer should include the name of your gym. It should be sprited and promote pride. If your gym has a theme, you might want to incorporate it into your cheer
Here are a few examples:
Hayden's Twisters:
We told you, we warned you
But you resisted
Mess with Hayden's
and youll be CLAP CLAP
Twisted!
Fame Allstars:
Fame Allstars
Comming at you live!
Lights Camera Action
CLAP CLAP
Take 5!
Riptide Allstars:
Red flags are up
Danger is near
Procede with caution
Riptide is here!
Cheer Extreme:
We are Extreme
The best ever
Teal, black, and white
Now and Forever!
You want to incorporate potions and stunts that's match what your cheer is saying. For example, if you ended your cheer by shouting Wildcats, Jags, or someting like that you could have everyone turn to the audience and make cat claws
Yes, you can do individual cheerleading. It is a little more costly. It is called Top Gun sometimes, and you have to be pretty good.
Cheerleading is a big idea! Cheerleading is HARD work, you dont even know! its not just looking pretty and cute in short skirts and belly tops. It's cheering your team on.
Cheerleading that's pretty much it and Chrous
no im pretty sure they're not but they can be on an organization or on competitive cheer
pretty much every muscle is affected in cheerleading. especially: biceps/triceps, shoulders, upper back, lower back, hips, groin, calves, thighs/ back of thighs, ankles, wrists, backside
At a cheerleading competition, (I'm not talking about college cheerleading) each team will be entered into levels and age divisions. Depending on your level you will get marks deducted for illegal stunts, pyramids and tumbling etc. that are above your level entered. If in stunts there are bobbles or falls, marks will be deducted depending on how bad it is. Hope this helps :)
You can do a cheerleading routine with almost ANY number of cheerleaders. It helps to have at least 5, but four will do just fine. You just need to have two bases, a flyer, and a spotter, and that's pretty much it. good luck!
Well, soccer and cheerleading, because in soccer you have no helmet and a soccer ball is a pretty hard ball, and cheerleading because you have to be very loud. the sound can shake your eardrum when you can go deaf with both sports.
I am pretty sure this is from Fired Up. Its a cheerleading movie so when the cheerleaders are on the bus they sing chants about everything.
It is possible that you could be injured in cheerleading because of there not being mats. There should always be mats or a springboard floor in cheerleading, for the athletes to practice on. If at your gym there are not, I suggest you remove your daughter from the squad immediately
You can start cheerleading at any age, and there are competitive squads for kids as young as 4 or 5
any gymnastic stretches would probably be best.
