There is one really cool rule I would like to say, is that there are many different positions, and people have to play them. The thing is, you dont even have to be in that spot! Every one could back up to the outfield, against the fence, if they wanted. What is the difference in the regulations of baseball and softball?

There are several key differences between softball and baseball regulations. The first difference is that there are different pitching rules. In baseball the ball is pitched overhand and in softball the ball is pitched underhand. There is also different sizes for balls, softballs are bigger than baseballs. There is also different rules in leading. For softball you can only leave the base once the ball leaves the pitchers hand, in baseball you are allowed to leave the base prior to the pitcher releasing the ball. Another difference is that in baseball bases are 90 feet apart, and in softball they are 60 feet apart.

In slow pitch softball if you foul the ball with two strikes are you out?

Yes, in slow pitch softball, if a batter has two strikes and they foul the ball, they are not out. Unlike fast pitch softball, where a foul ball with two strikes results in an out, slow pitch rules allow the batter to continue their at-bat after a foul ball, as long as it is not a third strike. The batter can keep hitting until they either get a fair ball or strike out in another way.
