A ten year old should not be focused on getting ripped but staying healthy is important. If they are overweight, or just unhealthy they should be encouraged into physical activity, preferably a sport they enjoy

not to many.

the body is not made for it until a later stage of the life. the skeletal can be damage, but it is smart to do some walking in the sun and running and playing.

just have a good life and not eat to bad.

It depends what you mean "Work out" , if you mean wieghtlifting then it is not recommended due to the fact that the body is still growing so you could do alot of damage.
