Many more males are applying for Ballet schools than ever before. The demands on the body to remain fit to dace are high. Its much better to seek a local ballet school and go and speak to the tutor. They will always encourage males as males are in demand due to the stereotypical vision of many males regarding dance.
In addition being in a class environment you will be learning basics and group dance which is important plus to have private lessons would be vastly expensive
Yeah... you really cant get free ballet lessons unless you know someone who teaches ballet. youtube and other online video sites have some pretty informative stuff for beginners though. even though professional lessons from a trained ballet dancer aren't usually that expensive for beginners anyway. its usually when you get to advanced ballet like pointe when you need to buy special shoes and then if you are good enough to participate in a recital then you would have to pay for any costumes. i hope I've been some help. peace. p.s. if you lived in south Florida. i could give ballet lessons for a small price like $10-20 a lesson. i could also recommend some of my former companies that taught me well.
Experts say that boys could do ballet from 1000s years ago.
They could be referred to as 'ballerinas', 'artists' or 'ballet dancers'.
You can start learning ballet at any time. If you start too young, you could get into bad habits, and the Ropyal Ballet School says you should start around 6-7 years of age. You go down to the locakl ballet school, and if you are amazing, auditionj for the Royal Ballet School. Also, go for their Summer School. You learn LOADS, and it is amazing there!!
no your a noob
For ballet class- Leotard, pink ballet tights, silk/leather/canvas pink or black ballet shoes, a ballet skirt (optional) On stage, you either wear a tutu, or a long ballet dress. But, it could be anything!!
Depending on the ballet, it could be an entire symphony orchestra, or a single guitar. It all depends on the choreograhers vision of the ballet. It is mostly the piano that you can hear.
60% Most of Ballet people get hurt and it could be serious.
same in English 'ballet'. I guess you could also say 'Classical dance'
It was devloped in France in the early 1800's. Back then only boys could do ballet.
Not for regular ballet but for pointe there is a chance that you could break toes.
You could rent a Hummer Limo... and have them drive you to a private movie with friends
