You can only take single leg stunts up to the chin, but not all the way extended. It would be illegal and you could have major points deducted. I think the only way you could is be having it braced ( the flyer holding someones hands) on two sides.

What is the difference between youth cheer and junior cheer?

Junior cheer is more advanced than youth cheer and junior cheer has a higher age level for example youth would have 9-12 year old and junior would have 13-16 Junior cheer is not always more advanced than youth. Because you could have a youth level 5, and a junior level 4 and that would mean the youth would be more advanced than the junior. the only difference are the ages.

What level are tick tocks legal in cheer?

Level 4.2, 4, 5, 6 Um I am not sure but I am on a level 2 and we are doing tick-tocks but we are really advanced in stunts. Our cheer coach says we will get bonus points for doing them so.. I would say they are legal in lvl 2 but usually don't start till lvl 3? Yep that sounds right. (:

Was cheerleading played differently then it is now?

Yes, cheer has changed alot. Years ago, cheerleaders wore long skirts and had larger poms . They also did a smaller variety of stunts and they were lower level than they are now. Cheerleading routines were choreographed differently and so were different stunts. Cheerleaders didn't do much tumbling either. Competitive cheerleading has also became popular over the years. So, yes cheer has changed and has became more dangerous, but way more popular.

Good stunts for level 1 cheerleading with 12 girls?

I'm assuming your talking All-Star here so here are the rules and some ideas. You can NOT go above prep(chin) level. One-legged stunts are not allowed at prep level. Tosses are NOT allowed. Do lots of preps with hitches or cupies. Do one-footed stunts at thigh stand level.

What level is Cheer Extreme Youth Elite 2013?

Do you hyphen senior level?

Yes, if it's acting as an adjective. For instance, "senior-level official" and "senior-level coursework" would be hyphenated. But, if it's a noun (not describing a noun), it doesn't take a hyphen (e.g., "Competition is fiercer at the senior level.")

What is the training experience and education needed to be a cheerleader?

To answer your question, it depends what cheer leading program you are deciding to attend. School's cheer leading, seems to only expect good jumps and maybe to throw a good back handspring, don't forget to have A LOT of spirit for your school! Any other gymnastics/cheer organization, I can't really say because I don't know all the expectations but I'll rank them if you know what "level" this place expects: level1: jumps, cartwheels, and small stunts and beginning tumbling. level2: level1+more advanced stunts and higher quality performance. possibly splits. level3: level1&2+a back handspring or back walkover. level4:level1,2&3 and a back tuck and maybe a front hand spring (NOTE=all on ground). level5: all the levels but more advanced stunts with more complex tumbling
