Yes. a shroud is just a plastic piece that goes over the barrel.
yes
It will fit both of them.
It uses a5/x7 threads but it has a slanted shell and would not fit normally. However an Apex barrel will work just fine.
Dan Wessons have a nut inside the front of the barrel that has to be removed to remove the barrel shroud and barrel. Keep in mind that Dan Wesson barrels are two pieces, the barrel itself, which is just a rifled tube that is threaded on each end, and the outer shroud. Once the barrel nut is removed the shroud just slides off and the barrel can be unscrewed from the receiver. When you put another length barrel on the gun you just screw in the new longer or shorter barrel tube, slip the shroud in place and tighten the barrel nut to hold everything in place. There is a special wrench that is designed to remove and add the barrel nut. You also need to be careful and measure the gap between the cylinder and the force cone of the barrel. DW makes a gauge to adjust this properly. If the distance is too small the cylinder can bind as it turns. A too-large gap effects accuracy and can be a safety problem.
If you are looking for a quiet air rifle, then look for one that has a "shroud" on the end of the barrel. An air rifle "shroud" on an air rifle is like a silencer on a firearm only it legal to have one on and air rifle in most places. The Shroud is often called a "noise dampener". Gamo offers the Whisper model that clams to reduce the sound by 52%. There are others that are much more quiet but they can be very expensive. As an example I own an Air Force Condor that has a full barrel Shroud with 5 baffles in the shroud. It's very quiet but expensive, costing over $700. The Benjamin Marauder is also a quiet air rifle with a full shroud at a cost just over $500. I suggest you look at the following web page. http://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Gamo_Whisper_Air_Rifle_Combo/1275
At least half.
i just bought one for 250--it is a 1915 double barrel 16--i may of been ripped off--i just had to have it--OCD
not sure on a 91' but i just removed mine last night on a 96' Grand marquis. On mine the bottem of the shroud was separate from the top and the sides. It slides in a grove and all i had to do was slide it all the was around its grove and it came free. This frees the shroud from catching on the fan. Then I just had to losen the two screws at the top of the shroud and everything came free. not sure on a 91' but i just removed mine last night on a 96' Grand marquis.
