Short answer: NO
The coach cannot shout out things to "relay to his pitcher", as obviously if a catcher or 1st baseman can hear him the pitcher would. In more advanced levels of baseball the catcher is the one responsible for relaying messages to the pitcher. Even in MLB you will see the catcher look into the dugout and then call time and go talk to the pitcher
no. because you have to swing for it to be a foul ball .its really a strike
Girls baceball
Equipment Used for Softball: 1. Metal bat (brand name of preference) 2. Helmet (depending on school or league, with/without chinstrap and cage. Ask your coach.) 3. Mitt (preference) 4. Batting Gloves (optional) 5. Softball cleats **If you are thinking of playing catcher, special equipment may or may not be supplied.
1. bigger ball 2. smaller field 3. lead off while pitcher has ball in circle without being out
In the end, it's whatever is most comfortable to the pitcher. If it is going to hurt someone (I.E., a catcher isn't as prepared, the pitcher doesn't have good aim, etc) he should not. If the pitcher can and can comfortably without hurting himself, go for it.
A balk can only be called when the ball is live. If a batter has been awarded time out, then play has stopped, and a balk is impossible. It's safer for the pitcher to complete the pitch, just in case the batter isn't awarded time out.
Softball would be one because most guys are all about Baseball but girls can play softball without guys complaining...
No, but the pitcher still can pitch the ball and it is either a called ball or a called strike depending on where it is located on the plate
The answer depends on the situation. In baseball, when the catcher signals the pitcher with finger signals, he is concealing his communication from the other team. That is not unethical. Without such justification, the answer seems to be yes.
All balls in. Going Down. All the practice balls are thrown in then the pitcher throws the first pitch without the batter. The catcher catches it and throws it to second. (to be more specific)
you have to get to home plate without the other team getting you out
