eh, so-so. normally gym teachers say the average for a 7th grade girl. usually you try to aim for about 3 minutes or around theree. if you run a mile everyday, or even once a week, your time will improve because you will be in better shape.
I'm not sure what the reference to 3 minutes is all about...my fastest 7th grade girl time is 5:30. Going under 6 is a BIG deal for our track girls. In PE going under 7:30 is bonus points!
Yes that is a good speed.
the average mile time for a seventh grade girl so she can maybe get a place is from a 7 minute mile and all the way down to a 6:10 mile. which is at there slowest time for a 7 minute mile now days its usually a lot faster.
yes. I'm an skinny 8th grade girl who's pretty healthy and i got 7.30. u got nothin to be worried about
1 hour
During Elementary School in fifth grade. Also again in Middle School in seventh grade. then last in High School in Ninth grade. So be prepared for a mile run, push ups, curl ups sit and reach, and the trunk lift. Good Luck

It would depend on how long you've been running and what grade you're in. If you're in 6th grade, I'd say a good time for boys would be 6:30-8:00 for 1 mile (multiply that by 1.5 for a 1.5-mile race). If you're in 7th grade, maybe 6:00-7:30 for 1 mile. For 8th graders, 5:15-6:30. Again, if your races are 1.5 miles, multiply that mile time by 1.5. If you run 2-mile races (which I doubt, for middle school), multiply it by 2. Although, keep in mind that you probably won't be able to maintain your mile pace for 1.5 or 2 miles, so it will be about 15-30 seconds per mile slower.
The fastest i have heard is 1:58 which is crazy but true. TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE. mile record is about 5:30
yep mine was 5 44 in grade 6
Running has become a part of many people's regular exercise routine, including children. A good mile time for a 1st grade student should be at about ten minutes. A 12 year old boy can complete a 1 mile run in eight minutes.
That would depend on several factors, such as your gender, your age, whether or not you've hit puberty, etc. If I remember correctly from seventh grade, the fastest people in my PE class got around 6 minutes, but I've heard of boys running closer to 5 minutes or so. That said, don't push yourself too hard in seventh grade. Especially if you haven't gotten your growth spurt, chances are you're going to get a lot faster later in life if you keep training.
1/7 mile = about 754.3 feet.
