There are a three basic principles for keeping the wickets well, assuming you have positioned yourself comfortably. 1.Keep your head still and eyes on the the ball. 2.Rise with the ball. If you rise early you will find it very difficult, almost impossible, to bend again to take the ball. 3.Don't grab at the ball. Let it come to you and take it with soft hands. Otherwise, there is no talisman to guarantee a good performance. Practice is the key to everything. That is the best principle.
